Frontline Club

As Events Producer  and Head of Digital for the Frontline Club, I help host and organise events for one of the biggest Journalist membership clubs in the world.

The Frontline Club is a gathering place and organization based in London, dedicated to promoting and supporting independent journalism and the coverage of international affairs, providing a space for panel discussions, screenings and debates focused on global themes and frontline reporting.

I've organized and/or managed over a hundred events at the club with journalists from the BBC, ITV, AL Jazeera, the New York Times, the FT and others with speakers including Lyse Doucet, Clarissa Ward, Malala, Paul Murphy, Chelsea Manning, Victor Mallet, Tom Burgis, Don McCullin and many more.

I also became the club's first  Head of Digital, spearheading the digital expansion of the club. I managed the club's socials, which generate about 200k views a month, helped set up a state-of-the-art AV System capable of recording, live streaming, screening movies and high quality audio recording simultaneously and restarted the company's video efforts, creating a stream of revenue through a new audience who followed the events online.

This is how the videos looked before I joined, this is how they look now.

MFE - Munich Forum of Economics

I was the Founder and Head of MFE for two years. The event series is ongoing to this day.

MFE is a Panel discussion series focusing on economic topics such as the economic implications of digitization and the role of women in developing countries.

Speakers included Marco Streng (CEO, Genesis Mining) and Dr. Juergen Rahmen (CDO, HSBC). Seven events in two years, with over 2000 visitors in total, consecutively after I left as "Wasti Talks".
